Musk normally comes from the male musk deer.  Similar fragrances are found in numerous plants.  The glandular secretions from the musk deer are emitted to attract a mate.

Therefore, The House of Musk Collection by The Oud Co. represents a class of predominantly sweet fragrances which range from subtle musks such as Egyptian musk, to more potent musks like our Black musk.
